Job summary

Planned Resources are seeking an experienced Asset Management Planner to join a local government organisation on a contracted basis to contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s Asset Management Framework, supporting effective lifecycle planning, asset data management and long-term investment decisions across a diverse infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in Engineering or Asset Management.
• Demonstrated experience in an Asset Management role.
• Experience implementing Asset Management frameworks and processes.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management standards, including ISO 55000.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Asset Management Plans, policies, strategies and standards.
• Support lifecycle planning and Levels of Service for roads, bridges, drainage, buildings, facilities and open space assets.
• Coordinate asset condition assessments and contribute to asset valuations.
• Support long-term capital and operational investment planning.
• Improve the accuracy and accessibility of asset registers and asset data.
• Provide asset management advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare asset information, reports and advice for senior stakeholders.
• Support Road Management Plan requirements and respond to asset-related enquiries.

You will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in Engineering or Asset Management
• Demonstrated experience in an Asset Management role
• Experience implementing Asset Management frameworks and processes
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management frameworks and standards, including ISO 55000 and NAMAF
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Local government experience is highly desirable
• A valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
