Job summary

Wannon Water in Warrnambool is seeking a keen asset management professional to shape and improve how we manage our assets. You will help understand asset condition, develop maintenance programs, and identify replacements to ensure continued service to the community.

This part-time, 19.5 hours per week, 12-month contract offers pro rata salary of 91,529 to 99,513 plus super. You'll work across teams, capture data, and contribute to asset management planning while developing knowledge with

Qualifications

  • Qualifications or relevant experience in asset management, engineering, and/or project management, or strong field experience in assets.
  • Administration knowledge to capture asset and condition information in computer systems.
  • Experience or knowledge of the water supply and sewerage industry.
  • Experience in asset or maintenance systems, management or asset renewal planning.
  • High level communication skills - the ability to distil information and concisely document it.

  • Use leading software programs to help interrogate data and make recommendations on what assets need to be replaced or repaired.
  • Undertake personal development opportunities by working with other industry groups and water corporations to build your asset management knowledge.

Job description

We're looking for someone who is keen and enthusiastic to use and share their knowledge and experience to shape and improve how we manage our various assets.

You’ll help us understand the condition of our assets, developing asset management plans and creating maintenance programs and selecting assets which need to be replaced to ensure we continue to deliver our important services to the community and customers.

This is a part-time position, 19.5 hours per week, contracted for 12 months and based in Warrnambool, with a generous salary of $91,529 to $99,513 p.a. pro rata plus superannuation.

What you'll be doing
