Job summary

Hornsby Shire Council seeks a permanent full-time Asset Inspector to inspect council assets, record conditions, and trigger repairs. You will update asset data in TechOne and other systems, and respond to customer requests to support renewal planning.

Salary ranges from AU$88,415 to AU$99,014 per year, based on 76 hours per fortnight, plus superannuation, with a 9-day fortnight and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Certificate or tertiary qualification in Civil Construction, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and reactive inspections of council assets and record conditions, defects and hazards.
• Raise work orders for repairs where required.
• Update asset condition and defect data in TechOne and other systems.
• Respond to customer requests and service complaints.
• Undertake asset handover inspections.
