Department of Transport & Planning Victoria in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking an Asset Data Management Officer to support collection, validation and management of transport asset data for decision-making. You will coordinate data collection projects, maintain data quality and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with stakeholders, consultants and contractors.

The role involves project delivery, reporting, and ensuring data collection activities comply with relevant standards and safety

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; mandatory project delivery and contract management experience with third-party contractors within a recognised quality framework.
Experience undertaking condition audits or inspections on transport infrastructure and knowledge of safe work practices.
Experience in asset data acquisition, asset information management and use of project/procurement/contract management systems within a structured governance environment.

Responsabilidades

Validate information using data, reporting tools and analytics to support decision-making.
Coordinate activities, monitor progress and ensure outcomes are delivered.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide excellent service to resolve issues.
Prepare project documentation and reports, overseeing data validation and assurance activities.
Ensure data collection activities are completed safely and in line with standards.
