Job summary

A leading Facilities Management firm in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Asset Analyst to develop and maintain asset management frameworks. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity and support business decisions through analysis. Ideal candidates have a degree in finance or business, 5 years of experience, and strong Excel skills. This full-time role offers a hybrid working model with competitive benefits.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedAsset Analystto join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our asset registry framework, ensuring data integrity, and delivering high-value management reporting. You will play a key role in supporting business decisions through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve the asset registry framework and records.
• Enhance the asset register to deliver meaningful, high-value management reporting.
• Extract and interrogate data from asset systems to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the Asset team to ensure accurate data collection and entry.
• Deliver monthly KPI reports and support internal/external stakeholders via phone.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on lifecycle costing, asset costs vs maintenance, budgets, and trend analysis.
  
  

To be successful you will need:

• Degree in Business, Finance, or similar; or Diploma/Cert IV in Management/Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial asset management experience.
• Proven ability to manage large and unstructured data sets.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and risk evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience in mechanical equipment management, leasing, or operations (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and customer account management skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
