Job summary

Our client, a well-established Australian manufacturer of premium pool and spa equipment, is seeking reliable Assembly Workers to join their Keysborough facility, with opportunities across pumps, filters, chlorinators and electronics.

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:06pm, at $33.85 per hour plus Super. You will perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools, wire electronic components and test finished products.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand and air-powered tools.
• Comfort following detailed assembly instructions and procedures.
• Willingness to learn mechanical and electronic assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pool and spa equipment (pumps, filters, chlorinators).

Key Duties

• Assembling pool and spa equipment, including pumps, filters and chlorinators
• Completing mechanical assembly using hand and air-powered tools
• Assembling electronic parts, wiring and other electrical items
• Following detailed work instructions and assembly procedures
• Fitting and securing individual parts to complete finished products
• Completing repetitive and detailed assembly tasks accurately
• Performing product testing and quality inspections
• Identifying assembly or quality issues during the build process
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Following all workplace safety and manufacturing procedures

About You

We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on candidates who are comfortable working with tools and have strong attention to detail.

Previous professional assembly experience is highly regarded but isn’t essential. What is important is that you are comfortable working with your hands, can confidently follow detailed instructions and are interested in learning how to assemble mechanical and electronic products.

Previous experience or exposure in any of the following would be highly regarded:

• Assembly or manufacturing
• Hand, power or air-powered tools
• Mechanical or electrical assembly
• Electronics or wiring
• Pumps, motors or similar mechanical equipment
• Automotive, trades or other practical hands‑on work
• DIY, home projects or other practical experience using tools
• Detailed or repetitive assembly work

You Will Also

• Be reliable, punctual and available Monday to Friday
• Be comfortable using hand and air-powered tools
• Be able to follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures
• Have good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail
• Be comfortable working with smaller parts, wiring and mechanical items
• Be willing to learn different assembly processes
• Be comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment
• Be capable of the manual handling requirements of the role
