Job summary

Ozag Machinery NSW PTY LTD. in Gumly Gumly NSW is seeking an experienced Assembler / Fabricator / Welder / Mechanic to join the Assembly and Manufacturing team in Wagga.

You will assist a team of experienced assemblers with the manufacture of farm machinery, including assembling ready-to-assemble machines and pre-delivery testing to ensure readiness for in-field use. The role may involve fabrication and welding of components and specific engineering tasks as directed by management as the company

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or mechanical work
• Welding or engineering experience
• Familiar with metal fabrication machines and tools
• Able to interpret CAD drawings if required
• Self-motivated and able to work with or without supervision

Oz AG NSW requires an experienced Assembler / Fabricator / Welder / Mechanic to join the Assembly and Manufacturing team based in Wagga. You will assist a team of experienced assemblers with the manufacture of a wide range of farm machinery, including the assembly of ready-to-assemble machines and pre-delivery testing of machines to ensure they are ready for in-field use. As part of this versatile role, your tasks will also include specific engineering tasks or repairs as directed, such as fabrication and welding of components, as the company develops additional improvements, modifications and features to its highly regarded machines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with assembly of ready-to-assemble machines
• Conduct pre-delivery testing of machines to ensure they are ready for use
• Communicate with key stake holders, both internally and externally
• Fabrication and welding of components as required
• Perform specific engineering tasks as directed by the Manufacturing or Territory Manager

About you

• Any relevant industry experience
• Previous Assembly or Mechanical knowledge
• Previous welding or engineering experience
• Familiar with various metal fabrication machines and tools
• Able to interpret working CAD engineering drawings if required
• Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
• Ability to work cooperatively within a busy team or autonomously
• Truck Licence (either HR or HC) is an advantage, but not a necessity
