Job summary

Queensland Steel House Frames is seeking workers to join our team assembling steel trusses and wall frames in a modern factory setting in Southeast Queensland. You will operate hand and power tools, pack products for transport, and keep a clean, safe workspace while aiming to meet daily targets.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with heavy lifting, team players with a proactive attitude, and eager to build a career in a growing manufacturing sector.

Job description

Working in collaborative teams of 3 to 4 people across our 12 assembly stations, you will be assembling high-quality steel trusses and wall frames, utilising hand and power tools safely and efficiently, packing finished products securely for transport, and maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workstation while meeting daily production targets and expectations.

About you

• Comfortable with heavy lifting and standing on your feet in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience using basic hand or power tools is a major advantage (but not essential)
• A strong work ethic and the desire to build a career in a growing industry

(38 hours minimum per week) overtime occasionally offered, but never mandatory.

Day Shift

Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Starting rate: $33.05/hr

Afternoon Shift

Monday to Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Starting rate: $38.00/hr
