Job summary

Steelcraft Framing is seeking Factory Assembly Workers for its Larapinta-based operation in Brisbane, Australia. This full-time day-shift role involves assembling steel frames and trusses to drawings, using hand and power tools, and maintaining quality on each unit.

Workdays are Monday to Friday, with a 5:00am start and a fixed early finish. Starting pay ranges from $29.87 to $31.42 per hour plus super, with on-the-job training and clear progression paths toward operator and supervisory roles.

Factory Assembly Worker | Steel Frames & Trusses | Full-Time Day Shift

Build the frames that go into Queensland homes

Steelcraft Framing is a family-owned steel frame and truss manufacturer in Larapinta. We've grown fast over the past three years and we're on track to double again, which means we need more good people on the factory floor.

We're hiring full-time Assembly Workers for our frame and truss lines on day shift.

Your hours

Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:26pm. The 5:00am start is a fixed condition of this role and forms part of your ordinary hours. Early start, early finish. Afternoons are yours and weekends are always off.

What you’ll be doing

Assembling steel wall frames and trusses to drawings and specifications

Using hand and power tools safely

Measuring and checking your work so every frame leaves right the first time

Working with your team to hit daily production targets

Keeping your area clean, organised and safe

What you’ll get

Factory, construction, trade or warehouse experience is a bonus, but attitude matters more. If you've worked hard in a physical job before, we'll teach you the rest.
