Job summary

People 2U is seeking an eager assembler to join our team in New South Wales. You will assemble fluid measurement, transfer and lubrication equipment components (e.g., pumps, meters, valves, hoses) in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications, using hand and power tools.

This is a temporary role of 3 to 6 months with potential extension, covering early morning shifts. You will perform basic testing and inspection to ensure correct fitment, leak‑free performance and adherence to

Qualifications

• Previous electronic assembly experience is highly desirable.
• Hands-on technical and manufacturing experience.
• Experience testing and inspecting assembled components and products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Reliable, motivated and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fluid measurement, transfer, and lubrication equipment components (e.g., pumps, meters, valves, hoses) according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret technical instructions and ensure correct fitment, alignment, and assembly of parts using hand and power tools.
• Conduct basic testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure functionality, accuracy, and leak‑free performance.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving defects or quality issues to maintain product standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following WHS procedures and meeting production targets.

Established company designing and manufacturing premium quality fluid measurement, fluid transfer and lubrication equipment for the agricultural, automotive, industrial, mining and transport industries across the globe for over six decades.

About the Role

Pay Rate

$33.05 per hour

Shift

Mon to Thursday 6am - 2:30pm, Friday 6am - 12pm

Duration

3 to 6 months (with the possibility to be extented)

Key Responsibilities

Assemble fluid measurement, transfer, and lubrication equipment components (e.g., pumps, meters, valves, hoses) according to engineering drawings and specifications.
