Job summary

Electro Optic Systems in Victoria, Australia seeks a junior project manager to assist planning, coordination, and delivery of technology-driven projects, developing PM capability with practical understanding of controls, governance, and stakeholder coordination.

You will assist with maintaining schedules, RAID logs, reporting packs, and documentation; supporting Project/Program Managers to ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering complex engineering/technology projects (defence/aerospace/high-tech preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK/PRINCE2/Agile and governance frameworks.
• Experience with supplier, vendor, or contract administration activities and change information.
• Exposure to project cost and schedule tracking with milestone updates and reporting.
• Maintain RAID and action registers; escalate risks or constraints promptly.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project tools including MS Project, Primavera, Planner, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of small to medium technical projects or work packages.
• Assist in developing work breakdown structures, schedules, and governance packs.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and commercial.
• Prepare agenda material, capture actions, maintain decision logs, and escalate risks.
• Track contractual deliverables, supplier inputs, and change information.
• Assist with cost tracking, milestone reporting, and variance commentary.
• Maintain RAID and change registers; support formal change control.
• Ensure adherence to EOS standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to lessons learned and process improvements in delivery activities.
