Job summary

Harris Farm Markets is seeking a Trainee Store Manager to join our Sydney store network. You will work alongside the Store Manager to lead the team, delight customers and keep the store running like a well-oiled, stocked machine.

You’ll receive hands-on training in people leadership, rosters, merchandising and compliance, with milestones and mentoring from senior retail leaders. This salaried role offers structured on-the-floor training and a pathway to a store manager position, under a

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in retail or hospitality.
• Love of fresh food, especially fruit and vegetables.
• Ability to juggle people, product and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in coaching the team to hit customer satisfaction and sales targets.
• Help build rosters that are on-budget and keep the store running smoothly.
• Keep the store looking fresh, well-merchandised and stocked with weekly specials.
• Champion food safety and workplace safety, and support injured workers back to work.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and developing the next generation of Harris Farmers.
