Austin Health – Melbourne Northern Suburbs VIC invites applications for Basic Physician Trainee Year 1 or Year 2 in the Medical Workforce for the 2027 Clinical Year. Trainees will receive diverse rotations and access to training programs across Austin Health and associated hospitals.

Selected candidates will have current AHPRA registration and a minimum of two years postgraduate medical experience, with a pathway to specialty training and RACP examinations, supported by the Central North West

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum two-year post-graduate medical experience.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Join our team as a Basic Physician Trainee Year 1 or Year 2 in the Medical Workforce for the 2027 Clinical Year.
• Engage in broad general and specialty rotations across Austin Health and partner sites.
• Participate in training programs and complete RACP examinations with regional support.
• Contract offers are year-based for Year 1 and two years for Year 2, subject to program requirements.
