Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking an Internal Only - Skilled Team Member for Asphalt Production to join the Asphalt and Aggregates area. The role blends hands-on plant operation with maintenance of facilities and records, contributing to safe, efficient, on-schedule production.

You will operate Front-End Loaders, Forklifts and Skid Steers, participate in daily production, and support the team leader while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Possession of current Forklift Licence.
• Competency in the operation of a Front-end Loader.
• Competency in the operation of a Skid Steer Loader.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily asphalt production and depot upkeep.
• Operate mobile plant when needed and maintain site housekeeping.
• Work with the team to keep production safe, efficient and on schedule.
• Complete production records and day-to-day admin tasks.
