Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join our established Australian consultancy, offering hybrid or remote work. You will design, implement and verify digital ASIC solutions, collaborating with FPGA, firmware and hardware engineers to deliver high-performance systems.

Based in Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne, the role provides exposure to architecture, RTL development and verification across a range of technically challenging projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in ASIC or digital design of complex systems.
• Proficiency with Verilog and SystemVerilog for RTL development.
• Strong background in RTL, synthesis, timing analysis and verification.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join their engineering team and work across a range of technically challenging projects.

The Role

As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital ASIC solutions from architecture through to implementation and verification. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop high-performance and reliable digital systems.

The role will provide the opportunity to work across a variety of projects while contributing to technical architecture, RTL development and ASIC design.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You will have a strong background in ASIC or digital design, with experience developing complex digital systems.

Ideally, you will have experience with:

• ASIC design and RTL development.
• Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
• Digital architecture and microarchitecture.
• RTL design, synthesis and timing analysis.
• ASIC verification and simulation.
• FPGA development and digital systems.
• Design tools and semiconductor development flows.
• Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
