Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking an experienced HD Fitter for underground mining equipment in Cobar. The role requires a trade qualification and Cert III Mobile Plant, with at least 2 years underground experience and exposure to CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Volvo or Normet machines.

You will maintain and repair loaders, trucks, graders, and shotcreters, performing fault finding across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems within a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified (HD Fitter) with Cert III Mobile Plant.
• 2+ years underground mining experience.
• Exposure to major OEM equipment (CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Volvo, Normet).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair underground mobile mining equipment (loaders, trucks, graders, shotcreters).
• Fault-find across hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Work in 7/7 or 14/14 roster environments with FIFO/DIDO.
