Job summary

MBC Asbestos & Demolition in Regional NSW is seeking a reliable Labourer / Asbestos Removallist for an immediate start on site. You will safely remove, handle and dispose of asbestos materials while adhering to strict safety standards on regional NSW projects.

Key duties include removal of friable and non-friable asbestos, site preparation, containment and decontamination setup, and safe waste disposal. Applicants should have relevant licences, a White Card and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold both Class A and/or Class B Asbestos Removal Licence.
• White Card (construction) is required.
• Driver's licence and own transport preferred.
• Must have full Australian work rights.
• Experience in the Construction Industry and Asbestos Removal Training/Experience is necessary.
• OH&S Construction Industry White Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Removal of friable and non-friable asbestos.
• Site preparation including containment and decontamination setup.
• Safe handling, bagging and disposal of asbestos waste.
• Follow SWMS, asbestos removal control plans and safety procedures.
• Use of PPE and respiratory protection equipment.
• Training available to the right applicants.
