Job summary

Aademex Pty Ltd is seeking qualified and experienced Asbestos Removal Labourers to join our team for immediate commencement. This hands-on role involves asbestos removal, demolition and general labour across a range of projects, including sites around Woolgoolga and the Mid North Coast.

You will work safely and efficiently, following SWMS and supervisor directions. A current White Card and relevant asbestos removal qualifications are essential; willingness to travel is required for project

Qualifications

• Relevant asbestos removal qualifications/licences.
• A current White Card.
• Previous asbestos removal and/or demolition experience.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work is essential.
• A current driver's licence is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude and willingness to undertake varied labouring duties.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with asbestos removal works in accordance with relevant procedures and regulations
• General demolition labouring, including strip-outs, dismantling and site preparation
• Safe handling, packaging and disposal of asbestos-containing materials
• Use of hand and power tools where appropriate
• Setting up and maintaining work areas and containment zones
• General site clean-up and removal of demolition materials
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Correct use of PPE and safety equipment
• Following SWMS, site procedures and supervisor directions
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
• Working effectively as part of a team across different job sites

About the Role

As an Asbestos Removal Labourer, you will assist with asbestos removal and related site activities while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance.
