Job summary

Young District Hospital & Community Health Services in NSW is seeking a Registered Midwife for a short-term contract to join the maternity team. The role involves hands-on birthing care, supporting mothers and families in a community health setting in Young.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated birthing and labour support experience.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary maternity team.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making in a birthing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternity care in a birthing environment to support mothers and families.
• Work within the established maternity team in Young, NSW.
• Contribute to patient assessment and safety during labor and delivery.
