Job summary

Westmead Hospital in Sydney’s Western Sydney region is seeking a Midwife for a 12-month temporary caseload position. You will deliver continuity of care across pregnancy, birth and postnatal periods, including homebirth, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Midwifery qualification.
• Current and valid registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Current Driver's Licence valid in Australia and willing to use for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, woman-centred care across the full maternity journey, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
• Manage a caseload delivering care in hospital and homebirth settings.
• Deliver education and health promotion to women and families; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
