Job summary

Randwick City Council in Sydney's eastern beaches seeks an Arts Programs Lead to join the Arts & Culture Team. You will develop and deliver innovative arts programs, exhibitions and events reflecting community identity while maintaining best-practice standards.

You will strengthen access to Council spaces, build networks, and support local cultural sector capacity through collaboration and delivery. The role is permanent full-time (35 hours per week) with salary $112,422–$129,285 plus 12% super.

• Expertise in planning, delivering and evaluating arts programs and events.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver innovative arts programs, exhibitions and events which reflect the cultural identity and needs of the community. Programs should be in alignment with models of best practice and industry standards.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary creative access to diverse Council-owned spaces and regularly seek ways to strengthen models of creative access.
• Strengthen local sector capacity through information sharing, community building, creative networking, and program design and delivery.
