Job summary

Sonoma Baking Company in Sydney's Alexandria bakery is seeking an Experienced Artisan Baker. You will craft a range of high-quality bread, work with high hydration doughs, and join a fast-paced, creative team.

Ideal candidates have bakery or production experience, strong time management, and teamwork, and are available for early morning shifts on a rotating roster with Level 4 and 5 positions. Must have full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or production environment is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and stay organized.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Bake a range of artisan bread with high hydration doughs.
• Mixing, hand shaping, proofing and baking to a high standard.
• Operate artisan baking equipment (spiral mixers, bread dividers, bun rounders, proofers, rack ovens).
• Work independently and within a collaborative team on early morning shifts.
