Job summary

Calleo is seeking an AI Developer to support a Federal Government client, delivering innovative AI solutions centered on Microsoft Copilot Agents and platform workflows to enable key business processes.

You will design, test and iterate prompts for large language models, maintain agents and workflows, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Canberra-based role; Australian citizenship and security clearances are highly desirable.

Job Overview

Our Federal Government client is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer. As an AI developer, you will bring AI development/workflow experience and skills to deliver innovative AI solutions. You will have a track record of design and delivery of Microsoft Copilot Agents/Microsoft platform solutions and projects that are designed and developed to enable key workflows and internal business processes.

Skills and capabilities we are seeking

• Experience in developing and delivering AI capabilities including experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio/Agent design and workflow development.
• Understanding of AI principles and dynamics.
• Experience in the design, development, testing and iteration of prompts for large language models (LLMs), including system prompts, task-specific instructions and structured prompt patterns to achieve reliable, safe and fit-for-purpose outputs.
• Maintaining agents and workflows.
• Ability to be innovative and solutions focused.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A customer focused approach and the ability to collaborate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in no-code environments, with other coding abilities preferred but not essential.
• Experience in Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate is highly desirable.
