Job summary

JMT Civil is seeking an experienced Articulated Haul Truck (Dump Truck) Operator to join our civil construction team. The successful candidate will operate dump trucks safely on civil, quarry, or earthmoving sites and contribute to daily production.

You will perform pre-start checks, report faults, and ensure vehicles are kept clean and well maintained. A valid licence and relevant tickets are required, along with a strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dump Truck Operator.
• Current and valid driver’s licence for the position.
• Relevant plant/machinery operating tickets as required.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate dump trucks on construction, civil, quarry, or earthmoving sites.
• Transport and unload materials including soil, gravel, rock, and waste.
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and report any faults or defects.
• Follow all site safety procedures, traffic management plans, and company policies.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Work effectively with other operators, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Meet daily production and project requirements.
