Job summary

MAAS Group is seeking a safety‑driven operator to join our quarry team in Victoria. You will be responsible for operating artic dump trucks, following site SWMS/SOPs, and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.

You must hold an Artic dump truck ticket, a valid driver’s license and White Card, and be willing to pass a pre‑employment medical. The role offers a competitive package with potential for full‑time employment.

Qualifications

• Artic dump truck ticket required.
• Driver's license and White Card required.
• Experience working in a quarry environment.
• Proactive and organised approach to work.
• Must pass pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
• May lead to full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Report incidents, near misses and hazards to management.
• Attend pre-start meetings and consult with the team daily.
• Complete documentation such as timesheets and other required forms.
• Work in line with client documentation and requirements.
• Pursue continuous improvement of operational performance.

Job description

Responsible for your own and fellow coworkers Safety, Quality and Environmental

Report any incidents, near misses and hazards immediately to PWE management.

Punctuality with start, finish and break times.

Must be able to work in a cohesive team environment .

Complete site specific inductions.

Sign on to all relevant SWMS and SOP's.

Complete documentation where required e.g. Take S's, Timesheets etc.

Pre-start meeting attendance and consultation with the team every morning.

Responsible for Continuous improvement. Monitor and analyse operational performance,implementing improvements as necessary.

Work inline to all client provided documentation and requirements.

Performance in conjunction with Legislative Requirements and PWE documentationincluding Policies, SWMS, SOP's, Management Plans.

• Driver's license and White Card
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing)
• May lead to full time employment
