Job summary

DCG Design International Pty Ltd in Campbellfield, VIC is seeking a full-time Fabricator for a 6-month period with potential extension. You will fabricate and weld structures from detailed drawings, delivering high-level finishes in a collaborative workshop.

Applicants should have MIG/TIG welding skills, experience with stainless/non-ferrous metals, and the ability to read shop drawings. A 7am start, Monday–Friday roster, and opportunities for travel are listed in the role.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in engineering - fabrication trade or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and AS/NZS5131 and AS3834.
• 3+ years' experience in welding fabrication roles.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld assemblies from detailed shop drawings.
• Create complex structural assemblies and metal cladding with high-level finishes.
• Work to tight tolerances with emphasis on aesthetics.
• Operate in a small, collaborative workshop environment.
