Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Fabricator in Melbourne's Epping workshop. This full-time permanent role focuses on turning drawings into quality metal products with MIG welding on thin materials and general fabrication tasks.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional half-day Saturday shifts when production requires. Join a team dedicated to quality, precision and practical, hands-on fabrication.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication experience – essential.
• Experience with MIG welding – essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on materials up to 3mm thick.
• Operate brake press machinery, guillotines and saws.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and perform fabrication work.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised workshop.
• Prepare stock and palletise materials for production.
