Job summary

HAUS is seeking an experienced Sydney-based Art Director to join our team. In this role, you'll help shape and elevate the visual direction of motion-driven projects, working closely with Creative Directors, Designers, and Motion Artists from initial concepts through final delivery.

The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, a sharp eye for motion and storytelling, and the ability to provide clear, actionable creative direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design or art direction with a strong portfolio.
• Strong eye for layout, typography, composition, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in motion design concepts, timing, and transitions.
• Experience reviewing style frames, moodboards, and storyboards.

Responsibilities

• Guide visual direction from concept to final delivery.
• Collaborate with CDs and ECDs to translate briefs into visuals.
• Review designs, storyboards, style frames, and motion deliverables.
• Direct designers and motion artists to elevate craft.
• Present work to stakeholders and clients with clarity.
