Job summary

Downer in Adelaide is seeking an Area Works Supervisor to lead coordinated works and services with subcontractors and internal stakeholders. The role reports to the Regional Manager and emphasizes planning, problem-solving and building strong working relationships.

You will work to deliver reliable, well‑managed services for essential operations, with a focus on coordinating activities, monitoring quality, and achieving contractual KPIs while maintaining safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Construction White Card is required.
• A qualification or relevant experience in Project Management, Property Maintenance or a trade background.
• Experience delivering planned works programs in a similar role or industry.
• Confidence working with outsourced service providers and subcontractors.
• Experience in building, construction or property maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope works in line with client standards, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, including property scoping and engagement with external delivery partners.
• Monitor work quality to ensure it meets contractual, client and company expectations.
• Track and support the achievement of contractual KPIs.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact for enquiries.
