Bakers Delight is seeking an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of bakeries in Adelaide, driving commercial performance and growth across franchise partners. The role blends office planning with hands-on visits to bakeries, enabling strong relationship-building and autonomous execution.

You will split time between office and the road, using data to identify opportunities, manage performance, and deliver improved profitability across the network.

Qualifications

• Commercially minded leader with ability to influence and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen interpreting P&L and performance data.
• Solutions-focused approach to navigate complex situations and change.
• Experience in retail, operations, logistics, or franchising.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business owners and travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of a portfolio of Bakers Delight bakeries using P&L and data to drive outcomes.
• Navigate complex situations, balance priorities, and drive practical solutions.
• Navigate industry landscape and internal innovation and change management.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve operating profits across the network.
• Work with franchisees and internal stakeholders on growth plans, openings and changeovers.
• Partner with National Support Office teams to implement initiatives that improve franchisee and brand performance.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on bakery visits to understand ground realities.
