Job summary

Rivercity Environmental is seeking motivated Arborists to join our growing vegetation maintenance teams on the Gold Coast and Slacks Creek. We have entry-level and experienced opportunities with full-time, casual, and ABN roles available.

You will work with trucks, chippers, and a crew to perform site cleanups, tree removals and trimming, plus ground-based chainsaw work and daily equipment maintenance while adhering to WHS standards. A valid MR/HR license and relevant tickets are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence.
• MR/HR Truck Licence.
• Safety‑First Mindset With Team‑Player Attitude.
• High Risk Licence WP (EWP) or willingness to obtain.
• Excavator/Loader Tickets and Chainsaw Certification (L1/L2).
• White/Blue Card and First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Working within a Truck and Chipper team.
• Completing site clean ups and processing tree debris.
• Undertake ground based chainsaw work.
• Assisting with tool and machinery daily maintenance.
• Complying with WHS standards and procedures.

Workloads Required But Not Limited To

• Working within a Truck and Chipper team

Experienced Arborist:

• Operate And Maintain Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Undertake Vegetation Maintenance Including Tree Removals / Trimming
• Comply With Company Standards And Procedures Including WHS Risk Assessments / Pre Starts Checklists
• Support / Lead A Crew With A High Standard Of Ethics And Skill
• Operate And Maintain Machines Such As Excavator, Posi Tracks, Mini Loaders, Stump Grinders
• Undertake Tree Climbing Techniques Including Removals And Trimming
