Greater Shepparton City Council in Victoria is seeking an Arboriculture Services Officer to support high-quality arboriculture services across the municipality. You will operate trucks and equipment, perform routine maintenance and help care for trees and public spaces as part of a field-based team.

To succeed you will hold a Certificate III in Arboriculture and a Certificate II in ESI, a current MR truck licence (or willingness to obtain one), and have sound OH&S knowledge and good teamwork

Qualificações

• Commitment to safe work practices and occupational health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively outdoors and in a field-based role.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on plant and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake arboriculture operations safely as part of a field-based team.
• Operate trucks, plant, tools and specialised equipment per safety procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance, checks and report faults.
• Audits of works, assets and safety compliance with records.
• Apply OH&S knowledge to tasks, risk assessments and controls.
• Support community service and collaborate with team members.
