Horsham Rural City Council is seeking a Plant Operator to support the tree maintenance unit, ensuring arboriculture standards are safely maintained and the Coordinator is assisted on an ongoing basis.

You will deputise at designated times and contribute to a friendly regional team within a vibrant community, with opportunities to work flexibly while delivering essential local services.

Qualifications

• Environment or horticultural certification (Certificate IV preferred).
• Broad knowledge/experience in chemical use.
• Current plant operation licences/certification is an advantage.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have environment or horticultural certification (Certificate IV preferred) and broad knowledge/experience is required in chemical use. Current plant operation licences/certification is also an advantage.
