Job summary

Lumia Care Pty is seeking Arabic-speaking Support Workers to join our community team in Sydney’s Inner West and surrounding areas. You will accompany elderly clients at home, provide social support, transport, shopping help and companionship to promote independence.

Flexible hours with Monday–Friday shifts, paid induction, mentors, and opportunities for professional development. A compassionate, patient personality and a current First Aid certificate are essential.

Qualifications

• Arabic-speaking is required.
• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Current First Aid certificate, Police check, NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide social support and companionship to clients.
• Assist with transport, shopping and meaningful outings in the community.
• Deliver personal care with dignity and help clients stay independent at home.
• Support with domestic tasks and meal preparation as needed.
