Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking a seasoned Client Services Officer to join the Anglican Care Finance team on a full-time 7 month maternity leave contract. You will manage customer records, respond to enquiries, generate invoices, and ensure timely processing of payments and reconciliations.

Working within a supportive finance team, you will maintain AR files, produce monthly reports, liaise with internal staff and external customers, and uphold confidentiality across residents and suppliers while

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in accounts receivable in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with aged care systems is preferred.
• Proficient data entry and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of customer contact for all accounts receivable enquiries.
• Check Resident Agreements are compliant with Security for Payment policies.
• Ensure banking and allocations are processed accurately and timely.
• Generate invoices and account statements.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Maintain all AR files and records.
• Produce accurate monthly financial reports.
• Investigate and resolve irregularities or enquiries.
• Assist in general financial management and analysis.
• Liaise with internal staff and external customers regarding concerns or discrepancies.
• Manage outstanding debtors.
• Support other finance functions as required.
• Contribute to a cooperative and positive finance team environment.
• Observe confidentiality of residents/consumers and records.
