Job summary

Belgravia Leisure Coburg Leisure Centre is seeking an Aquatics Services Coordinator to lead our Swim Schools programs, manage the financial performance, and drive excellence in lessons. You will report to the Aquatic Services Manager and mentor a team of Swim Teachers in delivering high-quality aquatic education.

Ideal applicants are passionate about swimming, child safety, and community engagement, with proven leadership of large casual workforces and experience in business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Swim Teacher Certificate (Teaching of water swimming and water safety or equivalent).
• Swim extension course qualifications highly regarded (Infants and Preschool, Access and Inclusion, Teaching of Adults).
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check or equivalent.
• Level 2 First Aid and current CPR certification.
• Legally entitled to work in Australia.
• Previous Swim School or Leisure Supervisor Experience and financial/marketing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the centre's Swim Schools programs and drive financial performance.
• Lead and develop Swim Teachers; oversee training and quality of delivery.
• Report on program outcomes; align with annual business plan targets.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging aquatic environment for all participants.
• Build relationships with families, schools and community partners to grow participation.
