Job summary

Hume City Council is seeking a Duty Supervisor to oversee daily operations at Sunbury and Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centres. You will lead service staff and contractors, ensure welcoming, inclusive, and safe environments, and coordinate facility setup, supervision, and customer experiences.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, performance management, and maintaining high safety standards across all facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff at a leisure or aquatic facility.
• Knowledge of aquatic operations and supervision requirements.
• Ability to coordinate staff and facilities for daily operations.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead all service staff and contractors in delivering high-quality aquatic and recreation opportunities.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff, including coaching, mentoring and performance support.
• Ensure facilities are clean, neat, presentable and safe for customers.
• Coordinate all areas across the facility for smooth customer experiences.
• Ensure aquatic supervision is maintained with appropriate staffing levels.
• Complete daily facility checks and adhere to procedures and work instructions.
