Job summary

Belgravia Leisure operates the NSW Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre and seeks an Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, safety and guest experience. You will lead a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, coaching and guiding them to deliver high-quality service.

This role focuses on plant operations, Lifeguard deployment, maintenance and safety compliance with policies and statutory requirements. A strong aquatic background and WHS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated plant room management and pool operations experience.
• Knowledge of the aquatics industry.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certificate.
• NSW Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate.
• Legally entitled to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety and high quality service delivery.
• Lead, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards.
• Hazard prevention and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• This role is responsible for plant operations, Lifeguard deployment, maintenance and safety requirements.
