Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer – Aquatic Centres to deliver a high‑quality customer experience at our swim centres. You’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries and bookings, supporting patients and visitors across multiple sites in the Cumberland LGA.

Casual positions available at Council's Swim Centres with weekend penalties and a salary in accordance with NSW Local Government Award.

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organisational ability.
• Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints.
• Experience in database management and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a quality customer experience as the first contact for swim centre enquiries and bookings.
• Assist customers with bookings and information across swimming centres.
• Collaborate with staff across locations and work shifts as needed.
