Job summary

Skretting Australia is seeking a technically skilled professional to support salmonid customers and product lifecycle activities across Tasmania. You will collaborate with product management, R&D, and commercial teams to deliver data‑driven insights and effective customer outcomes.

Travel to customer sites will be required. The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, strong communication, and a proactive approach to trials, product improvements, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Aquaculture, Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Animal Health, or a related discipline.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support customer account plans and routine customer engagements.
• Assist with technical sampling and data collection activities.
• Prepare customer reports and performance summaries.
• Help maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional support.
• Support delivery of contractual commitments and customer outcomes.
• Assist with planning and execution of R&D trials.
• Support implementation of new products and product improvements.
• Maintain product documentation and technical records.
• Contribute to product lifecycle management activities and innovation projects.
• Analyse fish performance, trial, and production data.
• Prepare accurate reports and technical summaries.
• Provide insights to support customer, technical, and commercial decision‑making.
• Support internal and external stakeholders with data‑driven recommendations.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Gather customer forecasts and market insights.
• Support commercial teams with relevant technical and market information.
• Contribute to initiatives that strengthen customer intimacy and business performance.
