Job summary

HorizonOne is recruiting for an APS6 Finance System Administrator to own and run the agency's TechnologyOne finance system in Canberra. This role focuses on day-to-day administration, interfaces to other systems, and end-user support.

You will manage enhancements, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes, while also assisting with Expense8 administration and user training. The position offers a 12-month non-ongoing contract with potential extension and hybrid working two days per

Qualifications

• Experience with financial management information systems, especially TechnologyOne.
• Strong analytical skills with reconciliations and month-end and year-end processes.
• Ability to produce and interpret financial reports.
• Clear communication and liaison skills; ability to train staff.
• Australian citizenship with Baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the TechnologyOne finance system, including enhancements and fixes.
• Manage daily interfaces between the finance system and other business systems; resolve issues.
• Generate general and specific financial reports from the system.
• Provide a helpdesk service for finance system users.
• Undertake month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
• Assist with administration of Expense8 travel and credit card system and advise staff on travel matters.
• Develop and deliver training for finance system users.
• Contribute to policy instructions and procedures for the finance system and its interfaces.
• Assist with monthly management reporting.
