Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking experienced Case Management / Program Officers to support a high-profile Australian Government program in Canberra. APS4 and APS5 levels for a 12-month contract with potential extension and October start date.

You will assess information, manage cases and deliver timely outcomes in a highly regulated environment, handling sensitive information with professionalism and sound judgement.

Qualifications

  • Analyse data and identify relevant issues, trends or inconsistencies.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Work independently while contributing to team objectives.

We are seeking experienced and professional Case Management / Program Officers to support a high-profile Australian Government program. We have both APS4 and APS5 opportunities available. This is a 12 month contract with possibility of extension with a October commencement.

This opportunity is suited to individuals who can manage sensitive and complex matters with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement. Successful candidates will assess information, manage cases and deliver accurate and timely outcomes in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage cases in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret complex information to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, records and supporting documentation.
  • Analyse data and identify relevant issues, trends or inconsistencies.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Work independently while contributing positively to team objectives.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Previous case management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, policy and procedural guidance.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Sound analytical skills, including the ability to understand and interpret data.
  • The capacity to deliver outcomes both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional judgement, discretion and resilience.
  • Previous experience within government or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
