The Digital Strategy and Planning (DSP) Branch provides strategic leadership, governance, planning and assurance across DVA's digital and ICT portfolio. DSP supports the Department to make informed investment decisions, maintain delivery confidence, manage technology risks, and ensure ICT initiatives align with departmental priorities and government requirements. The branch is responsible for strategic planning, architecture, portfolio oversight, investment governance, digital transformation, and assurance functions that support the effective management of ICT services and investments.
ICT Assurance within DSP provides governance, financial assurance and oversight across ICT services, operational funding and investment activities. The team supports informed decision-making by providing evidence-based assurance over ICT expenditure, service arrangements, budgets, procurements, invoices and investments.
The APS5 ICT Assurance Officer supports the delivery of the team’s administrative, financial and governance functions. Working under limited direction, the officer maintains assurance information, undertakes analysis and quality checks, coordinates routine assurance activities and works with stakeholders to progress agreed outcomes.
