Job summary

Inchcape is seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Technician in Waitara NSW to learn vehicle servicing, diagnostics and workshop operations while working with experienced technicians in a supportive environment. You'll gain a nationally recognised trade qualification, complete apprenticeship requirements, and build foundations for a long-term automotive career with leading brands.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with vehicle servicing and maintenance activities.
  • Learn workshop procedures and safe work practices.
  • Work alongside qualified technicians to develop technical skills.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
  • Participate in training and complete apprenticeship requirements.
  • Support workshop cleanliness and organisation.
  • Assist with vehicle movements as required.
  • Learn manufacturer servicing and repair standards.
  • Complete service documents and records accurately.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with customers.

Location: Waitara (Hornsby) NSW

Job Details: Full-Time Permanent | Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Are you passionate about cars and looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry? We're looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Technician to join our team and develop hands-on skills while working alongside experienced technicians in a supportive workshop environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn from industry professionals, gain nationally recognised qualifications and build the foundations for a successful automotive career. You'll receive practical training across vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics and workshop operations while working with some of the industry's leading brands.

Key responsibilities

You are enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn. You have a genuine interest in the automotive industry and enjoy working with your hands while developing technical skills.

You're a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to take direction from experienced technicians. Most importantly, you're committed to building a successful career in the automotive industry and continuously improving your skills.
