Job summary

Inchcape Australia is seeking a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Technician to join our Melbourne workshop, to learn hands-on skills from experienced technicians.

You will gain nationally recognised qualifications across servicing, diagnostics and workshop operations while working with leading automotive brands. This role offers practical training, structured progression, and the chance to build a long-term career in the automotive industry with Inchcape.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for the automotive industry and hands-on learning.

• Provisional or full driver's licence with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle servicing and maintenance activities.
• Learn workshop procedures and safe work practices.
• Work alongside qualified technicians to develop technical skills.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
• Participate in training and complete apprenticeship requirements.
• Support workshop cleanliness and organisation.
• Assist with vehicle movements as required.
• Learn manufacturer servicing and repair standards.
• Complete service documents and records accurately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with customers.
