Job summary

Black Toyota Chinchilla is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our service team in Queensland. You will work with qualified technicians, gaining hands-on experience in servicing, maintenance and repairs while progressing through your automotive apprenticeship.

You will receive ongoing training and support, with opportunities to learn from experienced staff within one of Australia’s recognised automotive brands. This role offers a clear career pathway in a modern workshop environment.

• Current Australian Driver Licence, or willingness to obtain one.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Technician, you will work alongside qualified technicians to develop your skills in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. You'll gain hands‑on experience while completing your automotive apprenticeship and receiving ongoing training and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out workshop tasks under the guidance of qualified technicians.
• Complete manufacturer servicing requirements and workshop procedures.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and assist with identifying repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Complete apprenticeship training and trade school requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
