Boocock's Quality Meats on the Gold Coast is offering an Apprentice Retail Butcher / Counter Hand position. Start your Retail Butcher Apprenticeship with a busy, high-volume shop and potential for a four-day week.

We welcome 2nd or 3rd year apprentices and look for genuine passion, strong customer service, and excellent presentation. You will learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and may work some weekends with rotating rosters.

Apprentice Retail Butcher / Counter Hand

Start your Retail Butcher Apprenticeship at one of the best retail butcheries on the Gold Coast. 2nd or 3rd year apprentices also welcome.

We Need Someone Who Has:

• A genuine passion and wanting a long-term career in industry.
• Customer service experience and skills (would be advantageous).
• Excellent presentation.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment - and LOVE it!
• The ability to learn quickly - this is a MUST. It's a very busy, high volume shop.
• Availability and flexibility to work some weekends and rotating rosters (penalty $$ rates apply).
• Current 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship training and relevant skills (within the Certificate III in Meat Processing - Retail Butcher qualification), if continuing your training.
• Permanent work rights in Australia, with no restrictions.
