Job summary

ActronAir, Australia's leading air conditioning manufacturer, invites motivated applicants to join as an Apprentice Service Technician, assisting experienced technicians while studying toward your Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade certificate.

You'll service, repair and maintain ActronAir systems, learn on the job, and grow into a qualified technician within a supportive, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying, or about to commence studying, a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• A current Class C Driver's Licence (essential).
• A Refrigerant Handling Licence and WH&S White Card are a plus, but not essential to start.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Professional presentation, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A strong customer focus and the initiative to ask questions when you're unsure.

Responsibilities

• Support a Service Technician on allocated service, repair and maintenance calls, learning trade skills and safe work practices on the job
• Prepare for jobs by checking parts and job sheets, and help keep customers and the team updated on progress
• Build strong, professional relationships with customers and represent ActronAir's Customer Focus Standards
• Follow WH&S procedures and help keep job sites tidy, safe and compliant
• Attend TAFE and work towards achieving your trade certificate milestones
• Pitch in wherever needed and stay curious about new technology in the industry

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Service Technician to join our Service team. Working under the guidance of an experienced Service Technician, you'll get hands‑on experience servicing, repairing and maintaining ActronAir air conditioning systems, while completing your trade certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

This is a genuine opportunity to build a long-term trade career with the backing of an established Australian manufacturer you'll learn from people who know the product inside out, and grow into a fully qualified Service Technician.

What We're Looking For
