Job summary

Osmac Apprenticeships in Brisbane is seeking a motivated individual to start a junior plaster apprenticeship. You will learn to prepare surfaces, install plasterboard, and apply smooth finishes under the guidance of qualified tradespeople, while adhering to site safety rules.

Applicants should have a White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and a genuine interest in plastering. Uniforms, PPE, and college support are provided, with long‑term career prospects across multiple placements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a White Card (Construction Induction) and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Interest in plastering trade and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and safety‑mocused team member.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare surfaces for plastering.
• Install plasterboard and apply smooth finishes.
• Carry out minor carpentry and handyman tasks as needed.
• Follow site safety policies and read/interpret site plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of tools on site.

Junior Plaster apprentices wanted! - North & South Brisbane

As a plastering apprentice, your duties will include learning to prepare surfaces, install plasterboard, and apply smooth finishes while building hands-on skills under qualified tradespeople and following site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cutting, and installing gyprock sheeting
• Complete minor carpentry and handyperson tasks
• Carry out minor painting and touch-up tasks
• Reading and interpreting site plans and adhering to site safety
• Maintaining cleanliness on site and maintenance of tools

Requirements:
