Job summary

Hubtex Australia is inviting applications for an Apprentice Mobile Plant Technician at our Riverstone branch. You will learn on‑the‑job while working toward a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, servicing and repairing forklifts and materials handling equipment.

You’ll train with experienced technicians, gain exposure to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic systems, and develop hands‑on skills in a supportive national company.

Qualifications

• Motivated and mechanically minded person
• Able to learn on the job toward a trade qualification
• Willing to follow instructions and work safely
• Good teamwork and communication

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance and repairs of forklifts and materials handling equipment
• Work on electric, LPG and diesel-powered equipment
• Assist with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
• Learn to diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
• Assist with pre-delivery inspections and preparation of equipment
• Read technical manuals and electrical diagrams
• Use specialised tools and diagnostic equipment
• Follow safe work procedures and maintain a clean work area
